   Bob Edwards Car #9

In case anyone was wondering why Bob Edwards has never driven a race car before... The story is that he has just been a behind the scene kind of guy for years. Bob is not new to racing, just new to being a driver. Car set up and handling is very new to Bob, but thanks to great friends and sponsors, Bob has learned more than he ever thought he would. Being the Owner-Operator of AAA Transmission ReBuilders in Roseburg, Oregon, Bob knew all about transmissions and getting the most out of a transmission and drive train components, all the rest of it he has learned from good drivers such as Dan Fouts and Doug Risley. Curt Welty has even taught him a thing or two about horse power and what a motor should really do.

Bob's racing days go back as far as him being 11 years old and spending the summer at Cottage Grove Speedway, doing clean up for the race track. He spent many young years learning from Dennis Kelley on chassis building and even spent some time with the "Old Fart " Harold Minter. So No !!!! Bob really isn't new to racing, just being a car owner and driver.

Since becoming a car owner and driver in late 2006,  Bob has had two heat race wins in his Super Stock  and a great finish of 6th in a Limited Late Model Main Event at Douglas County Speedway. He has also won a Heat Race in a Hardtop that he drives for Chuck Prather-Owner of Coos Bay Speedway. He has also finished 3rd in two Oldtimer Main events for Car Owner-Mike Batman.

So come and jump on one of the best teams around and enjoy the ride with us.........

      Thanks- Edwards Racing .....
